Brief
Bluebird Press were looking to give their brand and website a complete refresh. Firstly Bluebird Press wanted to update their logo from a simple font into something unique but not lose their identity. Secondly they wanted to turn their simple 5 page WordPress website into a content managed, multiple product based website. Their requirements were to be able to upload and display as many products as they needed.
Solution
We reproduced Bluebird Press’s logo in a simple hand drawn style to keep the integrity of the brand but give it the individuality it needed. From the completion of the logo we then updated the whole brand by using typefaces that complimented the logo and hand drawn icons that they could use throughout their promotional material (flyers, banners, packaging, stickers, e-mailers, social media assets).
With regards to the website we opted to build it in Opencart which is an online shopping cart system and a robust e-commerce solution with minimal costs. It is designed for easy use and is search engine friendly. As Bluebird Press wanted to store the details of 100+ products this was definitely the best solution. We designed and built a bespoke, responsive template to their specific needs.
